Abstract: Materials and Methods: The present prospective case control study was conducted in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, SVS Medical College and Hospital, MBNR. Pregnant women with preeclampsia were considered as cases and women without any medical or other obstetric and fetal complications were selected as controls. Serum homocysteine was estimated on 2 ml of serum by competitive chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay method.
