Medical abortion by Mifepristone with vaginal Misoprostol in women in tertiary care hospital of North India: A comparative study

Abstract:Methods and Material: All 200 patients attending outpatient and emergency department of obstetrics and gynaecology, a tertiary care center with history of intake of abortion pill (mifepristone and misoprostol). And all the patients were divided into two groups, Group A: 100 Women with Amenorrhea ≤49 days. Group B: 100 Women with Amenorrhea 50-63 days. After confirming gestational age by ultrasound, and after written informed consent, following regimen was followed while prescribing the study drugs. Mifepristone standardregimen.
